This beautiful, needle-felted Bobcat is made completely of 100% wool, which has been sculpted into this wonderful art work. Like all of Melissa's pieces, it is solid wool with no pre-made form. Each piece of wool was intricately placed and needle felted, including the eyes. NOTHING on this sculpture has been painted. All details are made with different colors of wool, which have been hand-dyed for effect where needed. The artist is Melissa Gray, who is the owner and operator of ABC WoolCrafts. You will be able to meet Melissa and take her class at SAFF in October of this year.
